Saint Pepsi take on Beat Culture and Psychic Twin's collaboration "Drifter" and the result is this flawless remix. Beat Culture's Drifter/Shibuya 7" is out now. Go enjoy. Also, it's almost Friday!

BANKS

One of my favorite new-comers, BANKS, is back and this time she's gotten together with the awesome Shlohmo for the production of this new track, "Brain". This girl is going to be huge. Just a heads up.

The Mary Onettes

The first time I listened to The Mary Onettes was back in 2008. It was love at first listen, and I appreciate how true to their sound they've been since then. Their strong new-wave influences are hard to miss, which is, I guess, why I still come back to them. Here's the first track off their upcoming album Portico. The Mary Onettes released their last album, Hit The Waves, about a year ago. Go check that out, if you haven't already.

GEMS

Hear D.C-duo GEMS cover Seal's 1995 single "Don't Cry"!

GEMS released their debut EP Medusa last fall and you can stream it over here.

Poliça

I don't think I need to mention how completely obsessed I am with Polica. They are probably one of the best bands I've ever heard. Ever. This is a new video that strings together two of the tracks from their latest album Shulamith, "I Need $" and "So Leave". Not my favorite tracks off the album, but still fantastic ones, and this crossfade works out perfectly. I think "perfect" pretty much sums up how I feel about them in general. I'll shut up now.

Yumi Zouma

It's barely been a week since I posted new-comer Yumi Zuoma's first track "The Brae", but they've already dropped the second track from their upcoming self-titled EP. With "Sålka Gets Her Hopes Up" they seem to scale down on the 80's dream-pop and give us a bit of bass groove instead. The EP is out February 11 via Cascine.

Mikky Ekko

I'm guessing everyone is familiar with Mikky Ekko's collaboration with Rihanna for "Stay"? The other day, he revealed his solo version of the track, which proves he'll do pretty well on his own, as well. Let's keep an eye on this curly-haired boy.

Austra + DIANA

The strongest track (in my opinion) off Austra's Olympia gets a remix by their labelbuddies DIANA.

I had some trouble posting the video for "Hurt me now" when it came out a week or so ago, but it seems to be up on Youtube now... so here it is, in all its wonderful crazy!

Banks + Jensen Sportag

I am obsessed with "Changes" by Banks!
This remix is, of course, nothing like the original, but still definitely worth posting here.

iamamiwhoami

iamamiwhoami are back, and this time it seems they'll be showing a side of themselves that is brighter than the one we've seen so far. More typically electro pop. Almost tropical, if you ask me. "Fountain" is the first sign of their new stuff. The video for it is some kind of nature documentary with dance moves.

Keep Shelly in Athens

"Old Time Glory" is a brand new track from Keep Shelly in Athens, produced in "homage to singer Sarah P, who announced her departure from the band this past weekend, in order to focus on her other projects." I'm curious as to what their new album - out sometime this year via Cascine (of course) - will sound like and what their former fellow band member will give out.

Chiaroscuro is officially out next week, but the whole thing can be streamed over at Hype Machine. Happy Friday!

Nils Frahm

Gorgeous, just gorgeous. Nils Frahm's Spaces was released at the end of last year, go listen!

Yumi Zouma

So, how many times have I talked about my love for the NY/London-label Cascine in this blog? Probably around a million. But I really don't mind repeating that they are f-ing geniuses when it comes to signing awesome dream pop acts; they're actually hosting a large majority of the bands I've listened to the most over the past few years. Here's their newest act, New Zealand-trio Yumi Zouma, with their new song "The Brae". Well, what's there to say, really? I take it everyone enjoys floating on clouds to an 80's soft pop inspired jam.

KALEIDA

London-duo KALEIDA, consisting of Christina Woods on vocals and Cicely Goulder on keys & production, create sleek and sophisticated minimal electronica, just the kind that suit my ears just perfectly. This is their second track off their upcoming EP, due to be released in 2014. Listen to their first single, "Think", over here.

Jean Deaux

Meet Jean Deaux, a Chicago-based progressive R&B singer who's just released the track "Find U", in which she's hooked up with Sampha for vocals and production. For those of you not familiar with Sampha - he's an electronic producer from the UK, well known for his work with Jessie Ware, Drake, Solange and SBTRKT. I'm pretty obsessed with this forward-thinking ethereal R&B so I'm gonna be sure to keep an eye on Jean Deaux. And not just because she's involed with Saint Heron, Solange's own label, though that would've been a good enough reason!

Glasser

Watch this crazy surreal video for "Shape" off Glasser's latest album Interiors.

KLP

KLP is Kristy Lee Peters, a Sydney talent who's been around for a while as a DJ, producer and singer, mainly on the electronic scene in the land down under. Last year, she released her first actual EP, and I have to admit I hadn't heard about her 'til now. I'm especially like this latest track of hers - a lot of dance-floor potential! If Elliphant and Firefox AK had a baby, I'm thinking this is what it'd sound like.

Lorna Dune

"Let's talk about The Knife - or, rather, the dark-hued atmospheric swirls, terrible density, and unsettling uplift housed within the vicious throb that underscored "Silent Shout", said Pitchfork, and I was like, "Um, yes, LET'S!". Brooklyn-lady Lorna Dune, you seem awesome. Enjoy the entirety of "Agnes Day" off her debut EP Miamisphere.

Jessy Lanza

Before I head to bed, I just had to tell you all to watch this super polished and vulnerable performance by Jessy Lanza for the ever so beloved Yours Truly (captured at last year's POP Montréal). The track, "Strange Emotion", is of course the beautiful finale off her debut album Pull My Hair Back, released back in September.

St. Vincent

In December Annie Clarke shared the first single, "Birth in Reverse", off her upcoming self-titled record. The first single didn't impress me much, and after hearing the second, "Digital Witness", I'm still not thrilled. But then again, if you mention that your album is going to be "a party record you could play at a funeral", my expectations are bound to be really f-in high. As I normally really like St. Vincent, I won't judge 'til I've heard the rest of the album, out February 25th, but I am hoping for the rest of this funeral party to be a tad bit darker...

SITA

Thought I'd start 2014 by introducing you to the up and coming British act SITA (Sita Yebga). Listen to her beautiful cover of James Arthur's "You're Nobody Til Somebody Loves You" and keep her in mind this coming year.
